The Neotek external battery charger (ipod touch version) is a great item. when i first order the external charger it arrived DOA but cool shop shipped another out to me the same day with no charge. so far i have used it for two weeks and have found that with heavy use of my ipod touch (2nd generation) i only have to recharge the my ipod after 2-3 days instead of recharging every day. but with mild use i can get 4 to 5 days with the external charger. the item is quite thick about the thickness of a pack of cigarettes but it still feels very comfortable in my hands. i no longer feel as if i might break my ipod while using it and it also makes playing games a little easier on the hands since they have some thing to actually hold on to. another great feature about the ipod touch version is that it does not cut off the headphone jack which i have noticed a lot of similar items do, it just has a hole on the bottom (so 90 degree head phone jacks wont work). The battery indicator lights seem to be accurate and being able to sync the ipod with a mini usb is a great feature. the only problems i have found is that sometimes when i have it in my bag the ipod might slip out a little just enough to not charge, but it doesn’t happen very often, and when the battery is low on the battery pack the ipod sees it as plugging in and unplugging from the power source very fast but it still seems to work. also when i sync with the mini usb i sometimes have to unplug it then plug it back in for it to be recognized by my computer, really not a big problem.
Overall this is a great external battery charger compared to other similar items that cost +.
if your undecided i say save and get this neotek external battery charger.
